"The hotel was clean but the amenities were lacking compared to other hotels in this price range. They also advertised a "deluxe breakfast buffet" and it was far from it: two cereals, donuts (which were gone by an hour, English muffins, jelly. I usually stay at Hampton Inns and they have a very good breakfast buffet which has all the above and things like boiled eggs, oatmeal you can make, waffles, biscuit and sausage and many types of cereals and other items. Also my keys kept refusing to work and I would have to continually go down and have them rekey it but they never offered to give me a diffent one. I spent several times going to the front desk which I felt was unnecessary. The rooms also do not have ironing boards and irons like most hotels do at the same price. There were only two towels and two washcloths and I ask for extras since there were two adults and one child. I finally had to find a maid to get these items. She was very nice. The Hampton Inn charges the same price and sometimes even less but has much better amenities. Also when you go in the hotel at the front desk, everything is very sparse looking. In years past I could always count on Comfort Inns being the same quality as the Hampton Inns but that is not the same now. One positive note was that there was a mixup on my reservations and the manager did work it out for us. But when we first got there, an older man was working at the front desk and did not want to help and was definitely not friendly. Since I stood there after the problem with the reservations, he finally called the manager which took care of the matter in a very nice and friendly manner. The gentleman at the desk needs some lessons in customer service!"

This Comfort Inn is located approximately three miles from Spring Water Beach and 75 miles from Tampa International Airport.
